Take to the Water

Our traditional rowing skiffs are hired by the hour. Choose your boat, pick a time, and we'll have it ready at the water's edge, oars, cushions and all.

Boats & Prices

[PLACEHOLDER — prices and boat sizes to confirm. Design plan section 4 flags conflicting public prices; the site must be the single source of truth.]

[Additional boat types, child rates and longer-hire rates to confirm]

What’s Included

  • Buoyancy aids for everyone on board
  • A friendly hands-on rowing briefing before you set off
  • All equipment — just bring yourselves

Safety First

Safety is our number one priority. Every hire starts with a short briefing, buoyancy aids are provided for all, and we keep a close eye on the weather and the river all day. If conditions aren’t right, we’ll say so and help you rebook.

River Conditions

The Thames at Richmond is tidal, so our daily hours can shift with the river. We publish each week’s hours here and confirm your time when you book. [Weekly hours module to be populated by the operator each week — see Strategy Context doc, Option A: PLA tide tables + operator judgement.]

How Booking Works

Online booking is coming soon. Until then, booking is a quick phone call — choose your boat, pick your time, and we’ll confirm your slot there and then. We’re at the boathouse most days.
